IITS provides trauma-focused courses, lectures, certification, continuing education, and professional development for psychologists, clinicians, educators, social workers, graduate students, and other professionals.
Clinical & Community Practice
Training is connected to practice through clinical supervision, community programs, and opportunities for Ukrainian professionals to apply trauma-informed approaches with individuals, families, veterans, and communities affected by war.

IITS connects universities, practitioners, professional associations, civil society organizations, local government, and international partners to strengthen the institutional infrastructure needed for long-term recovery.

Core Training & Certification
A year-long program in trauma treatment and prevention that combines structured coursework with applied learning and ongoing professional development.
Luminary Lecture Series
Lectures and seminars connect Ukrainian students and professionals with leading Ukrainian and international specialists in trauma, psychology, mental health, and related fields.
Clinical Practicum & Supervision
IITS connects education with practice through supervised clinical experience, including free online and in-person counseling provided through its university-based practicum clinic.

IITS develops trauma-informed approaches that extend beyond individual clinical care to families, educators, veterans, displaced people, and communities affected by war.

Building a national trauma-informed recovery ecosystem
Ukraine’s need for trauma-informed care will extend far beyond the immediate impacts of war. Meeting that need requires not only trained professionals, but strong institutions, professional networks, shared knowledge, and sustained collaboration.
IITS is working to connect universities, clinicians, educators, researchers, civil society organizations, veteran-serving organizations, local governments, and international partners into a stronger trauma-informed recovery ecosystem.
